Clarissa Moore is a money coach and money expert. 

After paying off over $38,000 in credit card debt in just 16 months and increasing her credit score from a 545 to a 822, this single mom of 2 founded Clarissa Explains Money, LLC to help narrow the gender gap in financial literacy.  Clarissa’s mission is to help working women make, manage, and multiple their money so they can live their best life without going broke. She is the creator of The Budget Bundle, a program that helped over 700 women save over $10,000. 

Her work has been featured on the Tamron Hall show, ESSENCE, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, Credit.com, Next Advisor, Experian.com, FOX, Cosmopolitan, CBS, and NBC.

Since assisting people with their finances in 2005, Clarissa uses her own story and experiences to empower women and girls of all ages with the financial tools needed to change their lives. Clarissa is also Treasurer and member of Modestly Cover Diaper Bank of Essex County, which is a non-profit organization that provides an adequate supply of diapers for infants, toddlers and seniors of families who have low income and living below the poverty level in the Essex County of New Jersey. She is a Newark, New Jersey native and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cedar Crest College and a Masters in Business Administration from Alvernia University.
